1) What is the cost of the course?  

$350.00 (1 student)

$250 (per student in a class with a maximum of 2 students)

Individual class, with up to 2 students from the same company, focused on the student's specific routine

Note: We can come to your location for a $50 travel fee.

 

2) Payment options ?  

Cash, Card or Check

 

3) Do I need to buy any books?  

No

 

4) What language is the class conducted in?  

All explanation will be in Portuguese

 

5) What language will the test be in?  

Bilingual: English or Spanish. ServSafe has no proof in Portuguese 

 

6) What do I do if I don't speak or read English well?  

The instructor can translate words from English to Portuguese.  

 

7) Can the instructor help me if I don't understand a question on the test?  

Question translation only  

 

9) Do I need to have legal status in that country to get this certificate?  

No. This ServSafe certification is internationally valid, so it does not need to have legal status in the United States  

United to get the certification.  

 

10) How many questions does the test have? How many do I need to hit to pass?  

90 questions, you need to get 75% of the questions right.  

 

11) How long does it take to receive the certificate? 

For written tests on average 20 days. Tests on the computer, on average 2 days. You will receive a PDF file by email. 

 

12) What will happen if I fail the test?  

You will have to retake the course and exam  

 

13) How many times can I try?  

As many times as necessary. But you will have to pay a fee of $65.00 each time you retake the test.  

14) How long is the certificate valid for?  

5 years  

15) What is the format of the certificate?  

The student will receive the certificate via email  in PDF

16) Can I have the certificate printed?  

Yes. There is an option to have the certificate framed and printed by mail for the fee of $65.00
